The founder of banks civil construction, Mr K. M. Pillay (Elvis), a previously disadvantaged person, comes from very humble beginnings. In his quest to improve his life and those around him, he became employed in the civil engineering industry, in which he now has, in excess of 25 years of experience. His passion and his hunger to overcome the challenges of deprivation and a sub-standard life, brought out his entrepreneurial spirit, which lead to the birth of Banks Civil Construction, in 1999. Despite surrounding himself with some of the most capable and highly skilled personnel, Mr Pillay has vowed to adopt a “hands on” management of all projects undertaken by the company. He attributes this approach, to the success, that the compay has enjoyed to date. The company provides a clean, transparent and continued service, of a standard, not normally attained or experienced in the industry. The company is constantly training and developing its employees, contractors and all service providers to ensure, that the vision, the mission and the objective of the company is always achieved. The company is directed by key management personnel blessed with both academics and experience, in taking the company forward.

Our vision is to become a key role player in the African business arena by taking initiative in projects that are the embodiment of innovation, class, perfection as well as carrying out services with impeccable quality.
